Step-by-step explanation
1. Turn on the puddle light
Open the door as normal and let the puddle light run.
2. Watch for the warning flash
Before the light turns off, it will flash three times.
3. Wait for the automatic shutoff
At around 90 seconds, the light will switch off automatically.
4. Understand why it happens
This shutoff is built into the chipset to help prevent the light from overheating.
5. Close the door to reset the module
To reset the light, simply close the door.
6. Open the door again
Open the door back up and the light module should reset itself.
